General (ret'd) Ramsey Withers: General Withers joined the Canadian Army in 1948. He served in Korea in the Infantry and graduated from RMC in 1952. His distinguished military career included numerous operational command and senior staff appointments including Commander Northern Region and Commander Canadian Forces Europe. General Withers concluded his military career as Chief of the Defence Staff. Subsequently he served for five years as Deputy Minister in the Department of Transport. General Withers is currently Chairman of the Industry Government Relations Group.
Dr John Cowan: Dr Cowan began his career in Physiology and is a noted research scientist. His teaching career culminated in the Chairmanship of the Department of Physiology at the University of Ottawa. He then became the first Vice Rector (Resources and Planning) at Ottawa U. Dr Cowan has had extensive experience in labour relations in the university setting, and has acted as a Senior Advisor on Labour Relations under the banner of the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada. Dr Cowan is currently Vice-Principal (operations and finance) of Queen`s University.
Dr Michel Gervais: Dr Gervais is a nationally renowned scholar and Professor of Theology. He is a former Chairman of the Board of the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada. For the last ten years Dr Gervais has been the Rector of Université Laval. Dr Gervais is an Officer of the Order of Canada.
Capt Chantal Pelletier: Capt Pelletier graduated from Collège Militaire Royale de Saint-Jean in 1994 as the Deputy Cadet Wing Commander. She has a B.A. in Administration. Capt Pelletier currently serves in 436 Squadron, Trenton as an operational Air Navigator on the C130 Hercules.
Mr Norman Ross: Mr Ross is a successful professional engineer, businessman and miner with a Masters degree in Engineering. He was the Mining Manager of one of Canada's largest banks where he was concerned with numerous projects in coal, uranium, base and precious metals and industrial minerals in many countries of the globe. Mr Ross served on the Ministerial Committee on the Canadian Military Colleges in 1993.
Ms Jennifer Tomlinson: Ms Tomlinson graduated from the Royal Military College in 1989 with a degree in Chemical Engineering. She was a Reserve Entry graduate who was given six years of service in two Naval reserve divisions. Ms Tomlinson received her MBA from Queen's University and is currently a Senior Consultant with the Deloitte and Touche Consulting Group.
Mr Ken Smee: Mr Smee graduated from Royal Military College in 1962 with a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Physics, after which he received a M.Sc. from McGill University. He served in the Artillery, and was on the faculty at RMC for five years. After leaving the Service, Mr Smee obtained an M.B.A. from Queen's University. Mr Smee's second career culminated in his appointment as Executive Vice-President of the Royal Bank. Today he is a busy consultant who continues to give much to the College, both through his service on the Board of Governors as well as leadership in the RMC Club and its Foundation.
Lieutenant-Colonel (ret'd) Bill Bentley: Mr Bentley graduated from RMC in 1970 with a B.A. in Economics and Politics. He subsequently acquired Masters degrees in International Relations (Univ of Western Ontario), and History (Univ of Kansas). He has a Doctorate in Strategic Studies from the Univ of Western Ont. LCol (ret'd) Bentley served for 30 years in the Infantry, including extensive service in NATO and the UN. He also served a five-year secondment to the Department of Foreign Affairs as the Director of Peacekeeping.
Lieutenant-Colonel (ret`d) Peter Dawe: Mr Dawe is a graduate Engineer with a Masters degree in Civil Engineering. LCol (ret`d) Dawe served a full career in the Royal Canadian Engineers during which he spent one tour teaching at RMC. He commanded 5e Regiment de Genie du Canada 1984-86 in Valcartier Que. Currently, Mr Dawe is the Executive Secretary of the RMC Board of Governors.
