The presentation of RMC cap badges to every first-year cadets on parade by members of the Royal Military Colleges Alumni Association and Training Wing Staff signifies the Class of 2028's admittance to the Cadet Wing of RMC. The efforts and resolve demonstrated by naval and officer cadets completing the First Year Orientation Period and the challenging Obstacle Course will be recognized during the Badging Parade.

Details

Saturday, September 13, 2024, from 9 to 11 a.m., on the parade square

Dress: CAF members: DEU 1A, N/OCdts: Scarlets and #4, DND Employees: Appropriate Attire.

In case of inclement weather, the parade will take place indoors at the Kingston Military Community Sports Centre’s Anderson Field House, Building 65, 1 Navy Way, CFB Kingston.

Parking: Sawyer Parking Lot

Vehicular Restrictions:

From 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on September 12: Parking is not allowed in the parking area located along Navy Bay, next to the Aquatic Center and to the Sawyer Parking Lot. 

From noon September 12 to 10 p.m. September 13: Staff and faculty with assigned reserved parking spaces are requested to park along Point Frederick or within the parking area beside the swing space. Students, staff and faculty are requested not to park in the designated GREY and ORANGE parking areas located behind the Sawyer building.

From 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. on September 13: No parking allowed on Valour Dr.

Note: Violators will be ticketed and/or towed at their cost.
