2. Harmonize various services for all graduate students Pursue the opportunity to provide supplementary health care to civilian graduate students. Faculty OPI A Briefing Note was written in Nov 2023 and forwarded to the Division of Graduate Studies. After some communication, the Association Dean of Graduate Studies responded on June 18, 2024 that upon discussion with the Dean of Graduate Studies, no action would be taken. 
3. Decrease the potential course offerings on the departmental website Reduce the number of courses offerings associated with retired professors or no longer offered.  A reduction of 17 courses. Head of Department This work is ongoing and will be revised in the Fall of 2025.
4. Clear and well-documented process to monitor progress of students in the program.

Use the pre-existing well-established processes.

When this work was started, it was realized that updating the Departmental Grad Studies document was a necessary first step. This work is ongoing.
5. Increase support to very active research groups.
  • Identify key research groups.
