Prof. Magali Deleuze (History), acting Colloquium Chair, presents a plaque and research stipend to Prof. François-Emmanuël Boucher (French Studies), while committee member Dr. Sarah Hill (Psychology) does the same to Dr. Huw Osborne (English).
The 12th Humanities and Social Sciences Colloquium drew over 30 members of the College at 0830 Wednesday, 28 October 2015. The Colloquium offers professors in the Faculty of Arts an opportunity to share their research with their colleagues, and occasionally with their students, in the form of an interdisciplinary, bilingual, scholarly conversation. Supported by the Dean of Arts and the VP Research, the Colloquium has been running since 2005, with presentations typically in late October and late February. Presenters are granted a research stipend of $200 for their efforts and, along with commendation from their peers, a commemorative plaque.
