They are proud to identify as 2Spirit and are an active advocate within the 2SLGBTQI+ Communities.

Chad began their military journey in August through the Indigenous Leadership Opportunity Year (ILOY) entry program. During their time with ILOY, they gained valuable insights into their aspirations and decided not to pursue the path of becoming an Officer. Instead, they initiated the relinquishment process to focus on their goal of becoming an AVN Tech in the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF), aligning with their deep passion for aviation. they have extensive hands-on experience working with a wide range of aircraft at the Regina and Edmonton International Airports.

Before joining RMC, Chad studied at the University of Saskatchewan, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology for three years. Driven by a strong desire to serve Canada, they chose to transition from their studies to dedicate themselves to a career in the RCAF.
